Pretty straightforward. We're moving out soon and making plans to have the place cleaned. The lease requires that the carpets be cleaned, but that the owner gets to choose the company and service and will deduct the total cost from our security deposit.
That doesn't seem fair to me, but we are new to the state so maybe it's legal.
Anyone know for sure, or can recommend a place we can go for advice?
