Wondering how the competence etc of the King County & WA democrat organizations is?
I don't have a good grasp on the local politics and how they flow. I know some folks on one subreddit really considered the KC democrats nutters, but... shrug... no real reasons given.
thanks, -a. rattie

Hi Seattle -
September Museum meet up will be at Frye Art Museum on Cap hill. There is a small free parking lot across the street.
We'll meet in cafeteria at 6PM on 9/1, and as always the museum is free. If you're late, just come find us. It's a small museum, it shouldn't be too difficult to find a group of us.
See you there!

What are some of the most important commuter bus/rail services in the Sound? (connecting the suburbs with DT Seattle, U-District, etc.)
(I don't live in the Seattle area; in fact, I'm from British Columbia. But I do have an interest in transit.)
I know about some of the bigguns [big ones], like
Commtrans 402 (Seattle → Lynnwood)
ST 545 (Seattle → Redmond)
124 (Seattle → Tukwila)
Link Light Rail (Westlake → Sea-Tac Airport)
101 (Seattle → Renton)
55 (Seattle → West Seattle)
358 (Shoreline → Seattle)
What are some others?

I was having a discussion with someone over in news about reading minds and they've been doing that stuff since the mid 2000's. It's not anything new or extraordinary. I presented this article that is from 2013 but the news article had already passed its life cycle by the time I added it. You can control video game movements by thinking ski or right as long as the game knows what your brain looks like when you think those things. I saw this on some fluff tv show years ago. What gives? http://ift.tt/1aMVcFv

hello there, I'll be visiting ocean shores/olympia/seattle this next week and have been once before but am hoping to get any/all suggestions for unique places to eat (open to anything) and even cool places to check out while I'm in the area. I'm also new to the posting world of reddit so if this belongs on another subreddit I apologize and hope someone can redirect me.

I'm having a hard time finding community blogs that don't have a lot of sponsored content or don't update frequently. I'm hoping some of the Seattlites from different areas will have suggestions. I really like the West Seattle blog since it's taken seriously.

Are any of you bus drivers here in Seattle? What was the application process like for you? Do you like your job? Would you recommend it? Why would you not? From what I've heard by speaking with a few bus drivers the benefits and pay seem decent for something you don't need a degree to do. Also, do you havery tips for the general public about how to be safe/efficient/making the most of public transport?

Looking for a reasonably price probate lawyer, very simple will and estate, but a digging shows me I probably need some help with paperwork and the whole process.

Do you draw comics or wish you could learn how? There's a Seattle drink-and-draw for specifically that.
We're called Seattle Independent Comic and Game Artists (Sicaga).
It's free-to-all. We meet Tuesdays 6-11 at Big Time Brewery and Fridays 7-11 at Chocolati Greenwood. We play comic drawing games, share progress and generally hang out and be art nerds.
The turnout lately has been between 6 and 12 folks a night. There's a couple of super amazing pros, but we're mostly mid-level and super beginner. We absolutely LOVE helping beginners get started, so no drawing skill is required at all. Hell, we have a couple of developers and novelists who just come to hang out and work near comic artists.
Basically everyone's welcome.
I'm Jer, the organizer. AMA!

I'm pretty bad at it but I would like to get better, and it's hard to write original flow without original beats. I'm happy to write about whatever, doesn't have to be something I'm attached to.
