Where do you go to get information about state and local elections?

Here's my typical m.o.: I realize that election day is tomorrow, so I furiously google each candidate and initiative, looking for information. Then I read whatever google serves me. I don't really feel good about this because I'm just reading what a search engine gave me. Are there some sources which typically do a really good job of covering local elections which I should go to first?By the way, I'm looking for the least partisan, axe-grinding sources possible.
